Steve Martin

President

Steve brings over 45 years of experience in landscape design and construction, combining technical expertise with a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. He founded Aspen Property Care 24 years ago, building the company on a foundation of quality, integrity, and client-focused service. Steve also holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License for Turf and Landscape, further demonstrating his commitment to professional standards and environmental care.

Scott Skaar

Maintenance Division Manager

Scott brings over 42 years of experience in lawn maintenance and care, and has been an integral part of Aspen Property Care for more than 24 years. As the Manager of the Lawn Care & Maintenance Division, Scott leads with deep industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence. He is also a licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator, certified in both Turf & Landscape as well as Aquatic & Mosquito applications.

Nick Helt

Landscape Division Manager

Nick has been a dedicated member of Aspen Property Care for 22 years, bringing a strong combination of hands-on experience and formal education to the team. He holds an Associate Degree in Horticulture, specializing in Landscape and Nursery Operations, and is a licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator for Turf & Landscape.

With over a decade of experience designing with advanced 3D landscape software, Nick brings ideas to life with clarity and precision—helping clients visualize their outdoor spaces before construction even begins. His deep expertise and commitment to excellence make him an essential part of the quality and professionalism Aspen Property Care is known for.

“These guys are great to work with. I received several quotes from other landscaping companies in the area to do a paver patio and I never felt as comfortable as I did with Aspen. Nick, the designer, was very prompt in his communication with me and also had a design for a patio in a day. The 3D renderings they did really helped me visualize how it would look in my yard. None of the other companies had that, so they definitely had and edge in that department. The patio crew was very courteous and did a great job. We picked a harder paver pattern but Mitch and his crew really stepped up and made the patio look amazing. Luckily they started the work a little earlier than expected since the weather hadn't been cooperative very much this year and they got it finished in time for a our 4th of July party. We definitely get a lot of compliments on it. Overall the prices are great, the service is great and the patio is fantastic. We are so pleased, we are actually going to have them do some lawn services as well.”
